to prepareDoneVerified on Oct 28, 2026

For travellers aged 1 year and over arriving from a yellow fever risk country, or who transited more than 12 hours through the airport of such a country, Australia requires an international certificate of vaccination against yellow fever (valid for life since 2016). The list of countries concerned may differ from WHO's list of risk countries: check with the embassy. If your journey does not pass through any risk country, the certificate is not requested.
