Do British passport holders need a visa for Australia?
Electronic authorisation required: apply for the eVisitor before you travel. It covers a stay of up to 3 months for tourism, a business trip or a family visit; for a longer tourist stay you need a Visitor visa (subclass 600). Each traveller, children included, has their own application, and you must travel with the passport declared in the application. British nationals can also use the ETA, with a possible service fee.
