  Germany, Austria, Spain and Ireland state that your passport must be valid for at least 6 months on entry to Morocco. Italy and the Netherlands only ask for validity covering the stay: to be safe, allow 6 months. Germany, Austria and Spain specify that an ID card does not allow entry, and Ireland that the passport card is not accepted. According to Irlande (Department of Foreign Affairs): "A valid passport is required for travel to Morocco. Irish passports should have a minimum validity of 6 months at least from date of entry into Morocco."
